PayPal is an electronic commerce company that facilitates payments between parties through online transfers.

PayPal offers payment services and solutions for both personal consumers and businesses. The company allows personal consumers to shop, make payments, and transfer money with relative ease. Users need an email address to sign up for an account and must provide a credit card, debit card, or bank account to complete the setup.
PayPal verifies all the information to make sure the person setting up the account is the rightful owner before the service can be used.
How To Get Started
Step 1: Copy this Link to your browser
Step 2: When on the page you need to choose business, because we are opening a business account and that is the account that has the full paypal feature we need. So click on Signup and then select business account on the next page as shown below and then click continue when that is done.
Step 3: When that is done you will be taken to the next page where you are to provide your email as shown in the image below.
It’s best if you open a fresh verified Gmail for this purpose. Enter your email there and click on continue... Please it’s advisable you use a Gmail account or a custom email if you have one, avoid yahoo mail at all cost. When you enter the email , click on next and you will be taken to the next page.
Step 4: On the next page you will be required to enter your personal information and your business information.. Don’t worry about the business info but make sure you are using your real name as it is on your document.
Step 5: So in the email field, you enter the email you want to use to open the paypal account and then enter and re-enter the desired password.
Step 6: On the business information area, where asked for legal names enter your original first name and last name there, for business name you can put any business name you want to use there, it doesn’t matter whether registered or not, in my case I just put a name I want.
Step 7: Where asked for telephone number, click the dropdown option and change it from Lesotho to Nigeria which is 234 or your country (in the case of other restricted countries) and then you enter your mobile number there and then you enter your Address as it is on your bank statement.
Step 8: And the next is to select the currency you want the PayPal to use, in this case select USD {$} and tick I AGREE AND CONTINUE and click Agree and Continue.
Step 9: When you do this you will be taken to the next page which is the tell us about your business page, where you will be required to tell them what type of business. Just select individual and then select anything as category and subcategory here and proceed you can omit the url option and leave blank.
Step 10: And then click on continue and you will be taken to account holder information page where you are required to provide an identification document for verification. Put in Nigeria (or your country) as your nationality, select the document you wish to use and enter the corresponding details there, in my case I am using an international passport so I will select that from the dropdown and provide the passport number and my original date of birth as it is on the passport.
So next is to submit it by clicking submit.
Step 11: When you do that, A verification mail will be sent to your email address that you used while registering, kindly check the notification on your PayPal account and verify your email address by clicking on the link attached to the mail that PayPal sent to your email.
And you are done and good to go..Your PayPal Account is ACTIVATED and ready to send and receive money in Nigeria or any other restricted country...!!
With this PayPal account that you have created, you can receive funds and sell it for cash to those who are willing to buy.
But how can you withdraw the PayPal funds directly to your Local bank account?
Below is the information you need to be able to withdraw PayPal funds directly to your Local Bank account;
HOW TO WITHDRAW PAYPAL FUNDS DIRECTLY TO YOUR NIGERIAN OR LOCAL BANK ACCOUNT
- For Other Countries;
To withdraw your PayPal funds directly to your bank account, you have to link your Paypal account to your Payoneer account or TransferWise accounts and then withdraw from PayPal to your Payoneer or transferWise accounts and from there to your local bank accounts.
- For Nigerians;
In order to withdraw your PayPal funds to your Nigeria bank account, you have to verify your PayPal account by Linking an ATM card to the PayPal account.
